I sold mine as is and spent about 30 Minutes packing it, I had the woman at FedEx but probably a dozen fragile stickers on. Used small cardboard tubes around the parts that are getting knocked out. All they need is some form fitting foam or a box in another box.
I just payed $76 to ship it from NE>TN, please let it be ok!

But it does make me wonder if the glue they are using isn't strong enough period. Wonder if someone might get their box intact but then the piece drops in when they press on it for the connection.

Or worse yet, the glue softens in the heat of the engine bay and causes something to get sucked in.

The glue had a blue tint to it, almost like some pvc glues, although I know its got to be an epoxy.

Yeah if so many fittings are getting punched out during shipping, I wouldn't be surprised if they also start failing during/after installation.

Has anyone had Turner tell them why they think this is happening? Or has it just been "sorry this happened to you, we'll exchange it for a new one"?

Same thing happened to the Streamline’s airbox during initial production. Someone said that one of the pieces came off and it got caught in the throttle body.

all those connectors will be clipped to smith on outside of the box.

I’m pretty sure it’s a result of the packaging. It was wrapped in thin foam, put in a bag and then tossed in a box with some brown paper. No fragile markings or anything and the box didn’t show up looking pristine.

I just returned mine and will get a new one sent with the new packaging. I’ll report what that looks like in a week or so.

sounds glorious. I’ll try to get a clip tomorrow. below 4500rpm it’s not noticeable. Also in WA, I’ll be at the ridge on Thursday for tnia.

What exhaust setup are you running? Still debating over here.

Sorry, not the greatest mic. Sounds best when csl rev match kicks in for those with smg.

jk715 thanks for posting. Sounds good. I’m worried catless and el Diablo will overpower airbox noises

I haven't made up my mind about Karbonius vs. Turner. Despite the shipping SNAFUs, seems like everyone is liking their Turner boxes.

Although enough time hasn't passed to truly evaluate the quality of the Turner boxes, they seem well made and fitment also seems to be pretty good. I guess it just comes down to if you want to run a snorkel/flap or not.

Bad news: I'm getting some not so great fitment issues.

                                1. I finally fitted an OE front strut bar that I picked up a few months ago. The bar very, very barely clears the unfiltered section of the box, but when driving things move/flex enough that they touch.

                                2. Took my cabin filter tray out to find that it also has been touching the box at the back, and in my case, the vibration of the box against the tray has worn through the clear coat making a very large blemish.

Has nobody else encountered these issues? Wondering if I've somehow installed the box incorrectly, but, I don't see how I could have. The throttle body boots are fully seated and the bottom of the box is mounted to the bracket underneath...
