OEM Navigation Head Unit Refresh/LCD Screen Upgrade - Hi gang! Is anyone aware of a company or individual that can upgrade the OEM navigation head unit with a modern LCD screen with Android and Apple CarPlay? I recall seeing this online, but I'm unable to remember whether it was on this forum, social media, or the web. I hope someone here has seen this and can validate the fact that I wasn't imagining it!

Sorry to rag on this topic too long, but I am thinking either Ohlins or TCK's.

Are the camber plates that come eith TCK's any good or should I be looking at other plates?

Also I have read that that Ohlins need some type of spacer from 3DM to still have sufficient travel when lowered, just wanted to confirm.

I am trying to make a single purchase (package deal) if possible and Vorshlag sells the Ohlins with their plates as a package but I may render the dampers useless if I go to low w/o said spacers.

Introduction Vorshlag Motorsports is proud to offer the full line of Ohlins Road & Track Coilovers.  The Road & Track series of monotube dampers has the quality, technology, and performance we look for here at Vorshlag, we won't just sell any damper! Ohlins has been involved in racing for over 30 years and that

Maybe create a dedicated thread? don't be shy =)

The spacers don't increase travel they increase ride height by elevating the strut. I did not need the spacers running Z65-203-070 swift springs with Vorhslags.

Imo, spend more for mcs/jrz or save $, and get pss10 or kwv2. Many happy people with those, they work great for what they are. Kw if you wanna go lower but billy shocks are great if you can keep it above 13.5" With gc or tms street plates and 343lb linear springs even better.

Thanks. I am taking my time. To keep it under control, I only work on it 1-2 hours at a time. This way I dont get tired and start cutting corners.

There is a time and/or post amount needed to be passed before you can post in there. Cool project!!

For anyone using an extractor to perform [engine] oil changes, which one are you using? I'm getting ready to order some Motive equipment for brake fluid jobs, and notice they have a 2gal extractor. I really see some benefit to something like this for engine oil changes on my truck with skid plates, and my other vehicles to avoid the extra time getting stuff on ramps.

I used a Mityvac MV7400 to do this on a previous car (not an E46 M3). Loved it.

Could pull the oil out with the car level – no need to either put the whole car on stands or lift just the front and accept that more oil might be left behind. Also, at the end of the drain, I could jack up one side at a time to let more oil out of the coolers.

I'll be changing my oil today as a matter of fact, I use this one.
