    Bunch of maintenance and headers.

Oil, trans fluid and diff fluids changes. Car almost hit 120k and inspection came due. Still have to look at my brakes as there's a squeaky pressure type noise from the bbk installed on the car.

Don't have any experience wrenching, so this was a nice start. Lucky to have family that can help and are way more experienced than me. It took me about a day of fiddling to get the headers off, and 2 hours to bolt the oe euros back. Insane how much more room there is now.

Found the car had some wiring issues. Post cat O2 sensor was plugged into the pre cat plugin. Car seemed to be a bit smoother on the test drive. No cel as I had the post cats and egt deleted via tune. However upon finishing the drive I looked through my oil pan. gg.

Not drinking wine although it certainly tasted like some, it's a Belgian quadrupel. Tasted glorious, almost as good as the rasp from the s54.

In the middle of new wheel studs, SS brake lines, and brass caliper guide bushings. Taking it slow and doing it right. There was significant pad taper wear from the rubber caliper bushings (~1mm thickness difference from top to bottom on the outer pad). Basically doing one wheel a day during quarantine lunch break.

                    Thanks, man!!

I wash with the gas door open because it gets dirty in there, too. So I make sure to foam it during the foaming process and wipe with my microfiber madness mitt while it's open and then rinse it out and dry it with my Ego blower. It's part of the car and I want EVERYTHING clean!

The quarter trim turned out great. I need to do mine, they are toast. Was attaching the rubber part tough to get right? Yours looks spot on!

The hardest part for me was replacing the bottom trim pieces, I found out when doing the passenger side (did driver's side first and learned a few things) that it helps to use tape to mark the position of the bottom trim piece before remova. Also, try not to rip up your tape mark too much during the process of adhesive removal as it is very useful.
Attaching the 3M rubber to the metal piece was one of the easier aspects of the repair.
Make sure and mark where the rubber starts/ends on the metal trim piece before you tear it off. I ended up using some clear vinyl tubing and shoved about 12" of it into the 3M to make sure it didn't kink and to generally just give it a better, more full shape that the window sealed against. I found using silicone lubricant on the clear vinyl tubing was very helpful when running it inside the 3M.
Best tip, use 3M adhesive remover, apply it directly to the adhesive to be removed, let it soak for a few seconds then use a plastic razor blade to scrape the crap away. Your tape line I mentioned earlier prevents the bulk of the 3M adhesive removal spray from running down your paint, even though it says its paint safe I didn't want to take any chances. Another piece of tape should be put on to block the spray from getting inside the car.

Precisely! I use Bead Maker as a drying agent for all those areas you mentioned. If you haven't used that yet, you should check it out. Stuff is amazing!

Finally installed a new rear view mirror. Mine had leaked years ago but I don't know why it took so long to replace. $55 from eBay and now I got home link and a compass too.
