Completed the clutch pedal bronze bushings and the brake pedal delrin bushings from AKG.

Besides some minor sanding for good fitment, no other issues to report.

Pedals both have a more precise feel and no more lateral wobbles.

Thanks! The actual seat delete was a custom fab DIY, but the backrest/firewall and rear quarter panels can be bought from https://theturtlelab.com/collections/frontpage (you'll just have to wrap them in cloth yourself). Small husband-wife owned business.

I replaced the motor of the ECU cooling fan, was sick of the intermittent cricket noise.

Instead of $140 for a new unit I went with just a motor which was about $13.34 with free shipping from Motor-King.com. It looks to be the same replacement motor that FCP is selling for $29.99.

Required disassembly of the blower unit (fan blade is friction fit onto the stem), and soldering of the leads.
Dimensions are nearly identical (photos make it seem like one is larger than the other, it's not, just optical illusion).
                      So far so good.

I got the motor from https://motor-king.com/products/ecm-...45419462164793.

                      The FCP version (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-nation-rk1023).

It's also available via ebay, but I went direct to save the guy a couple bucks in ebay comissions.

With 100 degree days coming this weekend finally got around to servicing the AC system. Went the route of slowly recharging based on high / low side pressures, and got the vent temperature down to ~44F from ~54F @ 86F ambient. Honestly pretty impressed at the starting point, considering I've never touched the AC in my 10 years of ownership. Looking forward to the massive QoL improvement 😎.

Update: Took the car for a drive and after the motor switched on I noticed it is kind of loud compared to the nearly silent OE one. I'm going to adjust the fan blade within the plastic covers, and look for any other areas that might cause the noise, to see if it helps. If not, then I'm going with a OE replacement. Will update again in a few days.

I guess I have two sets now for both M3s?

Reminds me I gotta get around to finishing this, I got too sweaty upside down in the pedal box and only put in half the set because of the need for sanding to get them to fit.
