Not something that I did today, but rather over the last few months - but I took some pictures today ))
I finally finished restoring interior on my car back to 100% factory fresh. Lots ot work here, lot of new original plastic and leather in this baby. New headliner, pillars, carpets. Everything from trim to leather, windows, seals, sunvisors - every inch of this car was brought back to as close to new as possible. 90k miles on this, btw.

I really wish I could find some seat backs in good condition. Mine are all scratched up. That interior looks great.

Is that a OEM wheel or a rewrap?

Looks great man. What’s the best way to restore faded red seatbelt buckle receptacles? And what type of adhesive is best to hold the trim along the headliner edge? The part that touches the top of the window.

Hopefully it was a satisfying process to bring it up to an "as-new" standard, the results are stunning. Very well done.

The wheel is new BMW wheel.
For seatbacks, check ebay - good condition ones sometimes pop up. Or you can always find a good upholstery shop to re-wrap in similar vinyl.

Thanks, for set belt buckles - I just paint them. I've tried magic erasers, heat guns, markers, etc. Nothing works as good as a thin layer of paint + flat top coat.

Thanks man, yea those look mint. For the trim by the headliner, did you do that or was the headliner job farmed out? Mine have periodically fallen off when it gets hot out, that annoys me big time. I'm trying to get the right stuff to make it last.

Is that steering wheel trim redone? Or is that a new BMW piece?

I refinish trim (see link in my sig), so all the plastic bits on this car were refinished by me.

Not quite sure what you mean by "trim by the headliner"? Like, headliner fabric?

Looks great! Where did you get the blank upper? I had trouble finding one in the past.

Well, hard to follow TexaZ3--but as a customer I can try (!)--had a pro remove my crusty old PPF, paint correct, and coat. This is the only pic I have before I pick it up. I have new headlamp lenses/corners, ready to go when I do the Lightwerkz upgrade; and I have new tails.

Got this damn thing finally. Took FCP a month to get it from Germany.

Tried priming the oil pump and circuits and I'm not getting the oil pressure light to go off. Also not seeing obvious signs of oil flow over the valve train when I look through the filler cap. Is this ~normalish for the low turning speed of the starter only?

Really don't want to pull the pan off to check my oil pump work if I don't have to…

With the spark plugs out, it can take 3 rounds of cranking for 14s.
