Not something that I did today, but rather over the last few months - but I took some pictures today ))
I finally finished restoring interior on my car back to 100% factory fresh. Lots ot work here, lot of new original plastic and leather in this baby. New headliner, pillars, carpets. Everything from trim to leather, windows, seals, sunvisors - every inch of this car was brought back to as close to new as possible. 90k miles on this, btw.

Is that a OEM wheel or a rewrap?
For seatbacks, check ebay - good condition ones sometimes pop up. Or you can always find a good upholstery shop to re-wrap in similar vinyl.

Hopefully is was a satisfying process to bring it up to an "as-new" standard, the results are stunning. Very well done.

Originally posted by Nate047 View PostThanks man, yea those look mint. For the trim by the headliner, did you do that or was the headliner job farmed out? Mine have periodically fallen off when it gets hot out, that annoys me big time. I'm trying to get the right stuff to make it last.BMW / E46M Interior & Trim Restoration.

Got this damn thing finally. Took FCP a month to get it from Germany.
Tried priming the oil pump and circuits and I'm not getting the oil pressure light to go off. Also not seeing obvious signs of oil flow over the valve train when I look through the filler cap. Is this ~normalish for the low turning speed of the starter only?
Really don't want to pull the pan off to check my oil pump work if I don't have to…
