Long story short...I was able to source a complete ZHP coupe alcantara/laser cloth interior and extra rear seats for additional fabric. I ripped the center cloth fabric off the seats and used them to reupholster the Recaro PPs. The Laser cloth (G7AT) material appears to be the exact same as found on the M3 CSL labeled ADAT - Anthracite Reflex cloth which I thought was interesting.

Recaro Pole Position Carbon ABE w/ Anthracite Alcantara and Laser Cloth (G7AT) and a very rare set of 18" BBS FI wheels:

    absolutely gorgeous!

I continued my search for a set of 219m wheels in good shape, and went down the rabbit hole of suspension options! I hope I find my way back..

Made some progress. I applied the primer, I mixed it as a surfacer. Came out good with very few dust particles. Not concerned at this point as it needs to be sanded to make it flat. The area I repaired came out ok. Not perfect, but I think I can level the primer just enough to make it invisible once colored and cleared

Cut the exhaust manifold heat shield into two for future header swapping / removal. I left a quarter-inch gap between the two parts so that they would slip in and out easier.

First 2-hour heat cycle with Supersprint stepped V1s and they’re already bronze!

Today I finally adjusted my ride height after years of ownership. I've got the Bilsten PSS10s, went up 3 full turns in the front which took the height from about 13 1/8" to 13 1/2". Didn't touch the rear, but it's about 14 1/8", which apparently should probably come down a bit from what I've read lately.

I only went for a short drive, but the ride quality and comfort over bumps and dips seemed much improved. I should have done this a long time ago, I suspect I've been hitting the bump stops fairly often.

Inspected the parts I bought for it.

Replaced detents on top of the transmission, roller with a spring on the side behind the GPS, and shifter rod seal. Guess I now know why the shifter was popping out intermittently 😂😂 The shifting feel is much tighter now than before.

Sanded the primer on the repaired area and super happy with the result, I cannot tell where the damage was. I just need to finesse the edge, it may not be perfect but for the untrained eye, nothing happened there

I found a local set of BBS RSII. Will be polising them, installing PS4S tires and waiting to find a clean E46 M3
