I replaced the seatbelts webbing and went with the “competition” theme. I also replaced the rear hatch weather strip. All in all, what a PITA to remove and install the trim without scratching the soft touch paint or braking clips. Good news is I succeeded and did not damage anything.

and finished the passenger side wheel bearing job. Still need to do the driver side but the power steering pump is leaking (I replaced the reservoir and used crush washers from autozone, so don’t do that! Get original which are aluminum and much softer. The banjos take only 35NM so you need softer washers to make the seal.

Swapped the Mishimoto fan with a Spal unit.
I used the nail mounts that go through the radiator. The Mishimoto worked fine, though I don't need the separate control unit anymore since the Emu black can directly control the fan using the water sensors in the motor which is a lot better than using a probe in the radiator.
I also fitted fitted switches in the cabin, one of which now manually turns on the fan.
The Spal also runs quieter (not that it matters on my car, can't hear shit inside anyways since it's pretty much stripped).

Scooped up the plastic trumpet Karbonius CSL airbox for the Imola Red M3. Now, just waiting on another CSL air rail and my second MSS54HP!

Not totally E46 or M3 related, but I built a detail/wash station in my new garage for my cars:

Why don't we put it in my car so we can finally determine if it's any louder or better sounding than the CF trumpets (that I currently have)

Sounds like a pretty fair exchange for unlimited use of your spotless water rinse setup.

Nice! Next on my list! Hung up on which pressure washer to get, however.

Thanks. Honestly, the harbor freight one (on sale [coupon] right now at $75 instead of $90) is plenty good and seems to come closest to its rated specs. I spent $120 on this westinghouse because it had the highest GPM rating of any of the sub $200 units. For washing a car, you don't need to worry about PSI much, even 900-1200 is fine. You want more GPM to rinse the car well. You can increase GPM with larger orifices (tips). I use 3.5gpm tips when most cheap PW come with 1.7-2.5. You can still get good pressure when you need to (like for snow foam or power washing cement) by reducing orifice size.

Tbone got that og inspired setup.

I had a crspotless system around 2005, don't miss it one bit.

It didn't last long and was a pain to exchange the resin so frequently and at such a high cost. Plus the cr guy is a dickhead who rapes on the resin (kept raising the price) once he has you by the balls with his low-flow system so fuck that guy.

I bought a big ol' di tank years ago and never looked back. Now I buy a box of resin once a year or longer and I don't have to restrict the flow during the final rinse.
