Track car is getting converted back to a street car bc I don’t track the car enough to justify keeping it in this form, and I no longer enjoy street driving it like this. So 4.5 years after it flooded and the somewhat forced conversion to a track car, I’m making it more livable. Sparco Circuit, harness bar, BW Race exhaust, and RTD shifter removed. Probably a 9-12 month project to install full interior with sound deadening, Cobra Nogaros, topside RACP reinforcement, catted midpipes and SS Race exhaust, and AS SSK. Really excited for this new stage!

I don’t think coolant should be this color 😂 Let the flush begin!

I think I did something wrong bc my car's battery drained overnight. I really am not fit for electrical work.

Could something be triggering your camera constantly so it's always on?

I initially tapped the constant power to the cigarette lighter and accessory/ignition on power to the radio. Now I’m using front window (fuse 48) for constant power and heater (fuse 28) for accessory power. Will see if that works.

Replaced windshield cowl. Old one basically fell apart in my hands.

Mine was just about as bad when I bought the car. I probably need to get another one soon because I thought I saw cracks on the rubber seal around the wiper shafts.

last month when I put the CSL airbox back on, I replaced the couple of rubber hoses that connect to the idle control valve and the fuel system evap line

19 year old hoses not looking so hot. Car did idle a bit better after I replaced them. One of them must have been leaking.

I restitched where a seam between leather panels had popped at the front left of the driver's seat. Results are not perfect, but far better than a popped seam. Next up comes restitching where it popped at the top of the left side bolster on the back portion of the driver's seat.

If your seams have popped like mine and you want to do the repair, buy a couple of curved quilting needles and some upholstery thread (then double it up.) I bent the tip of the quilting needle I used in a little more.
