Does the SS Sec 2 reduce rasp by a considerable amount vs stock?

It does reduce rasp a bit by way of lowering the overall volume, tone sounds about the same to me, just quieter.
I liked it a bit louder/raspy so I'm not sure if the SS Sec. 2 will be a permanent addition to the vehicle or not yet, if you want a quieter setup this will do that compared to stock Sec. 2, no question.

Finally ended up putting on the Reiger rear wing that I've been sitting on for almost 10 years. It's the same shape as stock but twice as big. Couldn't justify a CSL trunk yet so I'll try this for a while.

I enjoy the Koni Sport/Eibach suspension overall, but I could not find a sweet spot for the damping of the rears.
If the rear was supple then it would be sluggish in quick transitions.
If I got it on point in transitions, the ride was naffing stiff.
        Front axle adjustment is fine.
Switched to a pair of E36 M3 B8, for giggles, and went on a 5 hour hoon....Ride vs agility is spot on. (For now).
The bump stops on the B8 happen also happen to be about a 1/4" shorter than the factory ones...bonus.

oh yeah...5 hour trip and not one little light cropped up on the instrument panel; Fantastic.
It was reluctant to start, the following morning lol.

Had no idea this was a thing, looks great! Most non-BMW nerds would guess it was stock, which is the best kind of design addition in my opinion.

For the first time since I bought the car 8 years ago, I had a shop do a 2-stage correction and a 5-year ceramic coating. I should've had this done day 1, but fortunately I've kept up with the washes often enough that my paint wasn't too tough to finesse. I also learned through their paint depth readers that it is likely the driver's rear quarter was painted at some point, but that is not listed on the carfax anywhere, oh well.

Local dealer has a mobile service that comes to your home to change the airbags. I prepped and removed the passenger cover, and ended up performing the swap on both when the tech got to my house. He looked at my car as was like, “do you want to change them?” Lmao. Gladly i said yes

Joining the Karb train. Will have my Evolve CSL up soon.

Well, just need to get the intake top "hood" outta storage and the proper IAT sensor since the Evolve one is the screw on type. But, placed it pretty low near the CSL bumper cutout where I had one previously mounted

Thanks for this. Was it difficult to remove that passenger cover from dash? How to?

Were you able to schedule a mobile service? Just follow this video for the passenger cover removal. There is one clip on the far right of the cover that you need to worry about. Good thing is the mobile guy came with new hardware & this one clip that is prone to breaking. Mine fortunately didn't break.

Quick wash and applied some new vinyl. Headed to VIR next weekend.

Added some carbon ‘mud’ guards to the e46M, easy to install and great fitment.

ID:	190561 I poached the rear headrest delete from a forum member. Can’t remember whose idea it was but I thought it looked great.
