Swapped out my PFC08 pads in the front after about 8 days on them. Surprised they didn't last longer, but this warping of the pads was a bit concerning. I'll be upgrading soon to an AP kit.

Looks like some uneven wear. Time for a caliper refresh?

A little while ago but the process is worth a mention.

I removed and replaced the rear upper inner control arm bushings. Tricky bushing to remove as the bushing housing is very very thin and their isn't a special tool made for this purpose. Using this set in conjunction with a standard depth 24mm and 27mm socket I was able to make it work. When pressing the bushing out, assuming yours are not torn, place the 24mm over the long end of the bushing and apply pressure to this side. The 24mm doesn't sit flush with the housing so you are pressing out against the rubber but the bushing will begin to slide out before the rubber gives. I thought for sure I would have to press against the housing and it took me a little while to realize this wasn't true. I imagine there is a point of degradation where this no longer holds true. I used the 27mm socket to press in. This time the 27mm went over the short end of the bushing.

You don't need the kit as a selection of large deep sockets can accomplish the same thing. However, the hardened bolt and bearing nut in the kit make things easy.

swapping my storage wheels for the ZCPs, decided to take apart the brakes and lube them up for the season... glad I did so, at 65k miles, one side was toast. Replaced the shoes with new, cleaned up the entire hardware and everything around it, touched up the calipers and refreshed the discs. She looks clean and feels solid now.. 2 days of cleaning and touch ups but worth it.

Changed out front control arms. That 21 or 22 nut. A pain to get too. I gave up about 10 times but got it done.

Cleaned up M-texture a little with Sonax alcantara cleaner. Worked great!

I was selling the Impulse Cloth interior, I swapped it for this M-Texture.

The Impulse front seats were actually in better shape than this M-texture, but plan is to go with a Recaro Pole Position with M-tex centers. I have the full M-tex including doors and all so in the meantime I'm getting these fronts to look as fresh as possible

Here's what I plan to run:

Ok, this is really weird. I bought a used set of Recaro Pole Positions and installed them in my car today. Came here to share. Pretty sure they're the exact seats from your picture. 🤯

That being said, I am enjoying the new seats! Really changes the driving experience!

Did some basic checks and maintenance on the Vanos. Both exhaust hubs tabs are still there 😅, and looked to be in really good condition with no visible wear marks on tabs or oil pump disk. Also checked valve clearances. I changed the seals and filter in the Vanos pressure regulator and also fitted new solenoid body bolts. I bought the Beisan seal repair kit but the original seals were still soft and very flexible, so I decided not to change them at this stage
