flushed my brake fluid and put on my track wheels.
I think I need to drink more water (or the fluid was due for a change 🤣)

Finally got around to working on the Imola.
1. Karbonius CSL airbox (plastic trumpets)
2. CSL air rail with Kassel Performance MAP sensor cable
3. Turner Motorsport IAT relocation / Alpha-N cable without MAF connection
4. Kassel Performance MSS54HPCSL DME
Things I didn’t do but will when I find time again:
1. CSL dipstick install
2. Karbonius snorkel + custom snorkel-to-brake duct tube
3. SMG pump relocation to drug bin
4. Burkhart Engineering SMG motor replacement
5. Turner Motorsport triple baffled steering fluid reservoir

Track day at Streets of Willow. 1:29.xx isn't flying but it was a nice day at the track. More traffic than I anticipated but I'm still learning the car. I'm not brave enough to drive it without the DSC on "track mode".

New motor is ready to go compliments of ET Tuning (https://ettuning.com/) who did a fantastic assembly and set up job. Special thanks to Peter Partee of Partee Racing (https://parteeracing.com/) who was a sounding board and insight provider. Peter also set me up with the Dailey Engineering dry sump system. Brad Noland of Noland Cylinder Head Service (https://www.facebook.com/nolandscylhead/) and I plotted the path for the head including custom valves from Supertech. Here's hoping it runs like a scalded dog.

Belt driven dry sump?
Still planning to use the belt driven power steering and alternator?

Lots of photos please, I will definitely be picking your brain soon. Let me know about those specialty tools you got, if you want to part with them after I’ll buy them from you.Originally posted by SQ13 View PostDraped it for surgery. Yes, the Dailey Engineering dry sump is belt driven. Jury is still out on if I retain the belt driven power steering pump. Will decide after new engine is installed. Under hood space is at a premium.Originally posted by eacmen View Post

I felt that the information available online for DIY was a bit lacking, so I plan to make a separate thread with advice and photos.Originally posted by Avedis View PostLots of photos please, I will definitely be picking your brain soon. Have had some people reach out to me about the tools, so I’ll probably rent them out. We can chat about that if you’re interested.
