the OE 3 piece strut brace is underrated lol. it's convenient for maintenance compared to aftermarket one piece strut braces.Originally posted by 0-60motorsports View PostInstalled a new battery and replaced my RE strutbrace with the OE three piece strut brace."your BMW has how many miles!?"

This is the whole reason i did that otherwise i love the RE bar and was sad removing it. I have a lot of stuff coming up to do like installing the OE CSL Engine harness and i dont want to be taking that RE bar on and off and of and off etc for access.Originally posted by zzyzx85 View Post

Looks fantastic πOriginally posted by cakM3 View PostI installed my Challenge carbon fiber roof panel on my M3.
I've wanted to get this done for quite some time. I really love the contrast this carbon fiber roof panel has against my titanium silver paint. I feel having this changes the personality of this car.
By the way, small recommendation:
Can thank me later π

Appreciate the link! I will be sure to get this.
Thanks! This is a Tekarbon repro rear diffuser. I was going to source an OEM CSL diffuser but as easy as this is to mount and dismount, I decided not to in case someone decided to steal this.Originally posted by Keith_MN View Post

Yes, it will limit movement of the muffler and should last longer than stock (FWIW I've only been running (1) of these for almost a year). To me it is just a great product overall, you can buy shims if you need to change the position of the muffler relative to diffuser. 1 track day down and no issues for meOriginally posted by CarbonSchwartzenegger View Post

Those RE mounts are the shit, I just run one though.
All 3 added a bit of NVH, but just 1 on the passenger side made it so the muffler didn't smack into the evap housing and also allowed for great alignment relative to the diffuser.
Also, when I ran all 3 I had to hack a bunch of material off one mount that went on the front most driver's side. That was not cool to have this awesome expensive billet piece then take an angle grinder to it.2004 Silbergrau Metallic 6MT

This is good to know-- I kept having the passenger side mount fail so just tried out the RE mount there, and agreed, it seems to work great like this. Will see how long the driver's side stockers last, wasn't that long ago that I replaced. It is a nice looking piece, much nicer than stockOriginally posted by Cubieman View PostThose RE mounts are the shit, I just run one though.
