Would it be a waste of money buying a Genuine BMW clutch kit over a Sachs clutch kit? After reading some threads it sounds like it's best to just buy the Sachs clutch kit with the LuK TOB?

What is the torque spec on the oil filter housing bolt? In my old Bentley, I have hand written 24ft-lb then scratched it out and wrote 18ft-lb; I don't remember why. The TIS states full flow lid style is 24 ft-lbs, which I guess is what this is ??

It is different depending on where you look, 18ftlbs vs 24ftlbs.

Since TIS has 22NM (~18ftlbs) for M8 bolt and 33NM (24ftlbs) for M10 and M12, we should know which it is if you can get the diameter of the bolt.

An M8 bolt is typically a 13mm socket heat bolt, so 18 ft-lbs.

It's a 13mm. I'll keep it at 18 ft-lb thanks! But just in case you guys are working on Toyotas they don't always follow the ISO convention as they spec some fasteners to have hex drives different from ISO in order to keep it less complicated in the factory from a tooling standpoint.
