The kids named our AMG “AmyG” for the female voice that comes out of the navi system. It stuck.

Did subframe over the winter. Realized the suspension is shot and will be doing a full suspension refresh and new rears (chewed through them in 3-4K) in the next month. Probably some spacers too just to fill some of the wheel well.

Got my first rock chip on new paint, so I did a front bumper PPF.

One day, you might see me at My Strange Addiction… just bought a 3rd E46 M3…

It has a blown engine, timing chain snapped due to VANOS problem, found oil pump « bearing » pieces jammed on chain tensionner…

I have a spare engine completely rebuilt that was supposed to be for my E30 but will go in this one!

The guy bring it to his local garage and the mechanic without opening the engine told the guy the timing chain snapped. I didn’t u derstand too well and kinda didn’t believe it. When there and remove valve cover, it was indeed snapped but it was due to parts from VANOS oil pump, snap ring had pop from it’s groove…

                    It’s my …18 E46 M3 and also had 2 E46 Touring… Ok I might have a little problem but enjoy saving them!

Haha one m3 is more than enough headache/nightmare for me, for life.

I wouldn't wish an e46 on my worst enemy.

No, you definitely have a big problem but it’s not a problem, because… the time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time (John Lennon)… I suppose the same goes for money and energy. Carry on GT4.

Bought a 100k mile 2003.5 to build my pops a track car to go along with my E92! So excited to start building. Headers, all the bushings, Custom/MCS coils, RBs, Beisan vanos, AP Essex kit, Sparco Grids, SMG relocation kit (until CAE shifter setup goes in) and a million other small parts piling up in my garage. Can't wait!

Blank steering wheel trim install, navigation delete, radio delete panel, HVAC relocation. Streamlined and driving focused.

This was actually last week. Stainless steel brake lines, bled brakes and clutch, RTABs and FCABs all in prep for Autocross yesterday. Also had new PS4S installed on all 4 corners and alignment. First time Autocrossing and I'm hooked. Need to get some new brake pads, but nothing else at this point.

Fall project includes full cooling system refresh, transmission/motor mounts, ofhg, thermostat, water pump, belts and tensioner. Open to suggestions on other maintenance "while I'm in there". Car has 66k mi and fluids have been done along with valve adjustment, plugs and valve cover gasket.
