Relocated SMG Pump to empty bay on passenger side. Relatively easy to do on a RHD (no electrical harness extension required) - apart from making up the bracket.

How did you get your Vanos polished? I assume it was removed and you took it to someone?

I do it almost all by hand, PITA. Rags and qtips plus Mother's mag polish. Labor of love, cheap therapy.

Valve adjustment, pulled my VANOS for rebuild w/ Beisan seals, pump disc, exhaust hub, etc

I've been polishing my vanos (and certain, other metal parts) (in situ) over the last like 5 years, so it's been a progression. I would say you can get it very shiny (not perfect - mine isn't even) in maybe 4 hours straight? Your fingers, wrists and elbows will get tired though . I would guess I have like 12 hrs total on it?

I am almost done swapping my interior from Grey to Imola, got a clean set of seats, swapped the dash , carpet , center console, basically everything , took me 2 quarantine weekends , very tedious and stressful but worth it.
