My stubby antenna broke and left the bolt inside the base. Replaced base, had a 10mm socket drop into one of the channels below it, it was unbelievable, the socket is 2.5 inches long and it finds a way into a small channel. Picked it out with a magnet. 😂

While doing rod bearings and front subframe removed, cleaned everything, put new Lemforder inner/outer tie rods, OEM CSL knuckles, new wheel bearings, new PS lines. Also add 2 shims to power steering pump for 25% assist reduction. Also new rad hoses. List is long, doing complete refresh!7 PhotosGT4 Composites

From my experience the clutch fan works very well. Last year i replaced the fan clutch and my summer time coolant temps cooled down dramatically. The coolant temps used to reach 3/4 in 95+ F temps with AC, now i can run the AC in 100+ F and it stays at 1/2 mark.2004 M3 6MT |Eventuri Intake|

Stick with a fan clutch if it gets above 100F where you are in CA. We have tried and tested the Electric fan BS here in our 125F max Humidity weather and it doesnt work at all if above air temps is 100f and above.
Needless to say the clutch fan is back in the car and I now have a clutch fan delete cap to give away!

To me it is just a great product overall, you can buy shims if you need to change the position of the muffler relative to diffuser. 1 track day down and no issues for me
(my diffuser fitment has been screwed up for some time, please ignore hah)
EDIT: I just placed my order for one of these exhaust mounts from Rogue Engineering.Last edited by cakM3; 02-27-2025, 04:17 AM.

Refreshed (clean & regrease) the rear axles. Needed to replace the driver's side inner CV joint as it apparently overheated (nice blue tint) causing pictured damage. To help, I heat-shield wrapped the exhaust pipe which runs directly underneath the driver's side CV joint. Fingers crossed.
