My, what I believe to be the original battery from 2001, finally died. Replaced it with a Mini/CSL battery. Honestly, I've been waiting forever for this battery to die so I can do this swap 😋.

Went back to my 67's after a tire puncture, fun stuff, seems to happen too often.

It was an OEM BMW battery. I've had the car for 10 years. No record of replacement battery from the previous owner. Even if it was replaced at some point by the previous owner, 10+ years is not bad.

My flex disc decided it had enough and tore itself apart. Easy enough fix but definitely not ideal.

Mine is from 2007. No idea how it’s still alive

PS Res./hoses, those OEM clips that attach the hoses to the res and and to the pump are a bitch, got them with a small pair of needle-nosed vicegrips.

Also cleaned ICV/ITBs and replaced the TPS on the actuator while in there (68K), likely overkill but I needed something to do.

My front sway bar finally came in after a long 3 month wait. Worth it, this model is hollow so it will help reduce unsprung weight from the front end. I weighed it in at 9.8 lbs.

One more month for the rest of my OEM+ components to arrive for a complete front and rear suspension refresh at 104k miles. I'll be including plates and a rivet/epoxy Vincebar as well at this time.

Been reading the boards like a maniac and gathering information like crazy about my E46 M chassis. Thanks all!

so...I'm guessing FCAB might be on their way out? Maybe time to upgrade to Turner's monoball FCABs (or stick with OE Lemforders).

had to take the wife's hybrid, just to be safe. I appreciate the gas mileage but it's so boring to drive haha.

Rear view and side mirror refresh from MirrorJohn!

I was going to send my rear view to RadarMirror but opted to do the work myself, it's essentially basic soldering.

Great quality and thank you MirrorJohn!

I sent an email to radarmirror about the gass they use and no response so I guess I'm going with mirrorjohn instead

The M3 now has a freshly rebuilt ZF from Walther Motorsports (https://walter-motorsports.com/). The first drive provides silky smooth shifting and promising reliability over the last salvage yard, fingers-crossed ZF the M3 had. No high RPM shifting/driving until break in done befor VIR in a few weeks. Details on the rebuild & upgrade at: https://walter-motorsports.com/shop/...-speed-rebuild
