Minor thing, but a cleaner solution than what I had before. As much as I don't like to cut up factory parts this seemed like a no-brainer for $24.

Works with the CTEK brand chargers that many of us are using. Also shows battery status at a glance which is nice as well.

Does this count? 😆 … a bit odd sitting in a seat I’ve done 60k+ miles in while being in my living room

        And the obligatory M3 pic

I did the same thing with my sim rig! I took the passnger seat out of the car I wrecked on track and made it my sim seat. Best decision I ever made. Power adjustable seat on a sim rig is amazing!

What’s your power source? My stockers are manual so no electric for me, nice though that all the functions still work except for slider. Wanted to do a budget sim as I’ve had the g27 for years and just got a fixed bucket for the car. Pretty crude for now but maybe one day upgrade to something more premium in terms of sim hardware

Used an old ATX computer power supply.

Nice work, that looks really good. Might have to do the same on mine.

Finally got around to getting the bumper lined up. I went with the trinity graphics front and rear bumper mount kit.

                    Oh wow. That is awesome.

I use a NOCO Genious 10 and just draped the lead that's attached to the battery in the rear of the trunk (probably like most of us that use a trickle charger). It doesn't look like they have an equivalent adapter in their accessories list.

I might end up switching to CTEK just because of this!

Finally got done removing the tint. Way easier to do it with a steamer than heatgun. Still debating no tint or maybe do a super light tint 50%+

Is that on very hard to get to area of the tranny? The o ring gets hard as rock and needs to be replaced with a Viton version?

I bought an AGM battery four months ago (pricey!) and then a NOCO Genius 10 which has an AGM circuit choice on it. I unscrewed the clamps and used the ring terminals to hard wire the detachable tag line under the hood. Easy!
The tag line hangs in my smuggler box when not in use.

I have a digital multi meter with sizable alligator clamps I use when I need it. It lives just fine in the smuggler box too.

I bought the huge lithium NOCO $200 jump box a while back. I have used it plenty on other peoples vehicles. Not my own car...yet. Its a great power brick too. NOCO is the GOOD Chinesum type.

Underneath header bank 6 on passenger side and the cats (assuming you have US headers) are in the way. I had no problem figuring out how to get to it given the numerous DIYs available on YouTube but the issue was the amount of torque and rigging to break it loose. Tedious plus the metal is soft so you need the tool from here or make your own. Mine was leaking very very slowly for years but recently the leak had worsened so it was time.
