The haimus weave direction bothers me, don't know why they wouldn't retain the oem direction then again their aim is to be different I suppose.

+1. A detail that makes no difference, but a detail that bothers me nonetheless.

Scheduled the airbag recall repair for mobile repair.

Received an email for tow service.

        Cancelled the airbag recall repair.

Old rubber and steel parts out, all new OEM+ parts installed.

DropTopKingM3 Ohlins better than bilstein pss10s too? I just installed b12s on mine. My M3 is a true daily, no track time, but spirited driving. I was looking for a stock improvement but nothing too harsh. I thought coilovers would be overkill. R&T look really nice. Maybe I’ll look into them if I ever redo my suspension

Harsh is the only bad word I'd use in describing bilsteins. Konis would be a better "stock-like" damper upgrade. But bilstein is a better damper.

Now that I'm on the west coast, hung out with heinzboehmer and Slideways. C&C, then a short drive on some backroads

Nice shot and like hearing this. Mayan-Viking and I did the same twice recently on the east coast. Good times, good people, good cars.

Refreshed my clutch and brake pedal bushings. I love small interior refreshing.

Very happy with the product and presentation of the gauge itself. I learned after purchasing that P3 is just a small 4 man operation out of Ohio.

Been thinking about doing this forever-nice! Did you install an extra bung in the exhaust, or did you use one of the existing 02 bungs? How did you wire up the wideband to communicate w/the P3 gauge?

FCP stocks them. It’s a few dollars more overall but if you’re keeping your car forever like I am then the lifetime warranty will pay for itself. Instead of sending them out for a rebuild you can get new ones every few years.

It was great driving with you again Casa de Mesa. You picked some great roads, thank you for your hospitality and your stellar pit/tech support. The first time we went out we both limped home a bit. This time we both limped home a bit worse. Talked to the shop, looks like I need a new driveshaft (again). It also seems you might need to pull a portion of that drivetrain out. Convenient in the right light - a shade of blue, perhaps? I hope I don't end up on your stands/blocks next time we go out but I'm glad you were there. Thank you for that.

So now that I know the driveshaft needs to replaced (again), does anyone have any real world experience with one-piece CF driveshafts? I might as well consider it...

                          Cheers,

I have Megan racing headers so they actually had an extra bung already put into the bank 1 pipes (iirc). Although the LC2 kit comes with an extra bung if you need to fab in your own. So my setup currently has the two stock o2’s and the wideband.
They actually have a setting preprogrammed for the LC2 in the gauge so you just have to connect the wideband output sensor from the LC2 to one of the analog input cables on the gauge harness. P3’s instructions are absolutely spot on so install was super simple.
I ran the wideband controller through the passenger side glove box and had it meet the gauge wiring in the driver side. Plenty of wire for all of this. It’s all tucked away neatly and you wouldn’t know it’s there.
