I wasn't planning to. I think that would be a bit much. I liked having fabric seats and I wanted to break up the all black interior after I swapped in the black trim. I also like the flexibility to change the inserts again down the road if I wanted. I might pick up a spare dash trim set and cover it in houndstooth for fun.Originally posted by Gt4 View Post

I had one of those!!! Ended up causing a glitch with my turn signal blinker so I removed it. Not to suggest yours is bad or anything, I think mine developed a fault. I have the original install instructions in pdf if anyone needs it.Originally posted by davidinnyc View PostStarted working through an OEM navigation retrofit (I know, there are better units that require no effort to install) and found this little guy tucked away behind the dash.
Anyone want it?

Car went in last week to the indy shop I've used for years for a FR suspension refresh at 86k miles after having noticed the front just felt "loose"; all original parts were still on the car at this point.
Replaced: LCAs, FCAB, sway bushes, sway links, rebuilt yellow tag rack and new steering coupler.
Encountered another issue during alignment, so had new Turner adjustable LCAs, the outer lower ball joints and sway links replaced (bushes done 2 years ago with all new diff bushings). Can't wait to drive this thing, getting it back tomorrow. I'll say, just handling the old parts, it is amazing how much difference in play there is compared to the new stuff.

Not an M3 but my E39 is all I have left for my old BMW fix. Got a new Brembo GT kit front and rear installed on the car which solves all of my many complaints about the stock brakes. It’s overkill maybe but this was my treat for selling my E46. Ignore the filth, the car is living outside temporarily while I have some construction done on my house.

That looks quite good. I've wanted to try a magic eraser, but there seems to be quite a bit of negativity towards them. Anything novel, or tips to add, about your process?Originally posted by BTB View PostA little bit of magic eraser and I think I can hold off on a Coby wheel refresh for another yearLast edited by oceansize; 12-01-2024, 05:26 AM.3.91 | CMP Subframe & RTAB Bushings | SMG (Relocated & Rebuilt) | ESS Gen 3 Supercharger | Redish | Beisan | GC Coilovers & ARCAs | Imola Interior | RE Rasp | RE Diablo | Storm Motorwerks Paddles | Will ZCPM3 Shift Knob | Apex ARC-8 19x9, 19x9.5 | Sony XAV-AX5000 | BAVSOUND | CSL & 255 SMG Upgrades | Tiag | Vert w/Hardtop
