If VANOS test passes then you're good. Curious to see what your VANOS adaptations are too
It has some wiggle at the joints of the bridge. The alignment pins have good tolerance in the bridge holes and the cam holes.

Edit: I’ll update with VANOS adaptations after I get some miles on the car.

Not an M3 but pretty cool job going on with some M6 headers, wish it was mine.

              Looks fantastic!

It's too bad they don't offer bushings for these housings.

I think you can use E36 M3 bushings

Seriously?! If so that's gonna save me some coin.

Are they the E36 M3 diff cover bushings?

Yes, I have them on one of my M3. Maybe someone else can confirm?

                      Yeah supposedly softer durometer though

                        Hmmm...

I wonder how much softer they are. Right now I have aluminum bushings (Turner) so there's that. I wouldn't care except for the bloody diff whine...

What would the drawback be of using the sofer E36 bushings if any?

I have them. Can’t tell the difference except less SMG clunk. I bought the car with 60k on the clock so I can’t compare them with new. That is, these feel new to me.

The way I see it for my street car, I installed CMP aluminum raising subframe mounts and the E36 M3 diff bushings. OEM subframe bushings were rubber and moving but E46 M3 diff bushings are stiffer (when new
maybe!). In the end, the car feel tight now.

Learn something new on this forum everyday. I might order up the E36 bushings and try to press them in. Thanks for the info.
