What did you do for your M3 today?

    Not m3 related, but just received these Infinitiy Headers for the M6!
    Going to do rod bearings, vanos pump, line, along with a few other odds and ends.

    If only there was a forum like this for S85 stuff that was as well trafficked, M5boards is all I have.

          I did not order those, was on the fence, it'll be a month or so before it's gets all the work, may just do the updated squirters as well, they are significantly different/better it would seem.

          It's shitty how many things one needs to "bulletproof" on these, already found I have an SMG issue as a Euro SMG tune produces horrendously violent, delayed shifts after a few drive cycles and ISTA can't teach in the clutch slip point either with the Euro S.W, weird stuff.

            Yeah brother go ahead and get those before you open the motor up to do the bearings. Best of luck.

                  Yup, all original except for the front bumper - repainted due to chips and scratches.
                  It is recently ceramic coated, so still shines real nice.

                      Made some progress reassembling my car this evening. My friend is coming over tomorrow to get the rear end back in. I don’t want to jinx it but I might be able to drive the car by the end of the weekend 😳

                      KW Clubsport, 18x10 ET25 Volk ZE40, 275 NT01 scrubs, new tie rods, new control arms, BimmerWorld TrackCABs delrin LCA bushings, DB9 calipers, ZCP rotors, HEL lines, Hotchkis sway, Hawk DTC-60 pads which I’ll probably change soon, and Racing Brake titanium shims and high temp boots, PFC fluid inbound

                      Somewhat ambiguous side note about fitment with this size of everything. It rubbed on the spring at first, but I raised it to what is probably a more realistic ride height, and now it clears. I’m going to have to drive around a bit to let it settle before getting the car corner balanced, that way I’ll know if I’m in the ballpark or if I’ll need a very small spacer.

                      edit: forgot to add, long Motorsport Hardware wheels studs. Awesome that they have these at FCP, new set once or twice a year. Boom. Also loving the hex key installation, just sayin, way less of a pain in the ass than the two nut method.

                          Those ZE's are going to look fantastic on the IR and totally agree with the hex, I'll take that little bit of corrosion in there over the double nut method

                              I repaired my VW Kessy last week, which wasn’t too difficult so I decided to tackle GM5 by swapping out the two central lock relays.

                              GM5 is much more difficult than the kessy. I didn’t pull any traces but a few of the barrels lost their coating. Luckily they could all be jumped from the bottom.

                              My locks work but now I gotta figure out why my fob still doesn’t work :|
