These items next and there's a Karb trunk somewhere in the back. Busy, busy on the M3 exterior and intake.

              Haha!

Actually it’s not a vanity plate, didn’t choose the ‘’PZC’’. The lady was kind enough to search into boxes for an E46 plate the day I got the Estoril. I also had another one, E46 REY, on another E46 M3 I had and also E70 BFB on my X5 E70 4.8i Sport package 15years ago.

And yes I am french, JC too.

That rite of passage that so many of us E46 M3 owners go through - ordered CSL-style airbox 🤣

Order it. Open it to admire it and then let it sit in a closet for months/years only to resell it at a loss later. That's the rite of passage

I decided the wait wasn't worth the vinyl model so I upgraded to the leather and cloth.

Wiring up the mounts as we speak, I'm almost to the finish line.

Looks awesome! Sonoma Raceway sell Recaro seats? Not seeing it on their website.

I should have been more clear, the shop is called Wine Country Motorsports. They're official distributors for Recaros amongst the majority of race brands.

Check their website, if they allow pickup then you'll get it from Sonoma Raceway otherwise most of their stuff is drop shipped. They have a lovely sales room though, so many goodies.

So 2 things: put in an elring valve cover gasket, ended up leaking after 50 miles, terrible quality. Stuck in an OEM one and now perfect. Also had the section 2 hitting the cross brace on acceleration so come to find that the muffler hangers were fudged:

                              Two things today:
1] New overhead console cover after having found that during installing my -338 microphone for the BlueBus, the fabric was falling apart and the foam was basically "not foam" anymore.
NOTE: This panel is still super inexpensive so don't think twice about replacing it if yours is shot.

2] Later model IHKA unit upon Ted's (BlueBus) recommendation due to the original (older) unit randomly turning off when multi-blink turn signals are enabled using BlueBus. Also took the time to re-wrap the wiring with fresh TESA cloth tape as the original cloth tape had fallen apart (had to cheat and use some HF loom since I couldn't quite reach it all and wanted that wiring protected.
NOTE: I sourced my unit from eBay and while the front panel is near flawless, the temperature sensing circuit on the board was horribly filthy, so I disassembled and cleaned it, along with the little fan (I should have taken before/after pics). Anyway, for those wanting to remove the front panel of the IHKA, you need a T6 torx bit.

This weekend, I went up to Lake Arrowhead with some PCA friends to do Oktoberfest up there. It was fun time and fun drive too.
